Are you fanatical about XHTML5/CSS? They are looking for someone experienced with fully accessible sites hand-coded in standards-compliant XHTML/CSS. As an excellent Front-end developer, you will also need a good understanding of server-side technologies; especially Python and/or PHP, as well as MySQL. Experience of Frameworks such as Django or Rails is an advantage.
They are also looking for someone who enjoys planning the next cunning line of AS3. A portfolio showing a good understanding of Flash and Javascript would be great for working in this environment.
Not all their clients are the big brand names, but they are certainly innovative, more interesting less ‘run of the mill’ clients whether it is a Michelin star chef or a children’s charity in India.
You will need to be an experienced, a confident communicator with good ideas and at your happiest when bringing designs to life.
