The Marketing and New Business Exec role is not an out and out sales role. It is not a commission based role. However, they are looking for someone who is out going, who can research, network at events and awards events they are speaking at, make initial calls and have an approach to a sales cycle.
The Marketing and New Business Exec role will identify new business opportunities in their client industry sectors, lead generate, identify agency awards and senior management speaking opportunities, produce project case studies, strong marketing collateral and creative pitch documentation for senior team members, 'own’ the agency website, look at the agency's social media and SEO and bring initiative to promote this creative and strategic digital agency.
Humourous and lively copywriting ability for social media and email newsletter communications would be good.
The digital agency works on large strategic website design and builds, creative digital advertising campaigns to social media and mobile apps communications on behalf of their clients.
In a well-established (10 years plus) creative agency environment the Marketing and New Business Executive works into one of the agency Directors. All the Directors are personable, down to earth, no egos. Same with the Creative and Tech teams.
Ideally 2 years plus marketing, with good copywriting experience.
