Digital / Social Media Strategist, London 55-70k


A Digital Strategist / Social Media Associate Director role in the consumer brand social media team of a top London based global communications agency.
This role is about creative ideas and strategy and what social media and digital can bring.
The Digital Strategist / Social Media Associate Director role is in a small entrepreneurial team, but backed by a global agency, so you know anything can happen on a global scale to a very locally co-ordinated scale.
They are looking for exposure to big consumer clients and good digital content knowledge as a grounding to providing excellent social media and digital content campaign based work. You will need creativity in coming up with compelling story based ideas.
You may have managed more junior account managers who have experience of Twitter, Facebook and Youtube for communications campaigns, social media monitoring, community management, Blogging.
You can brief in a video production team or a digital project director.
You would work with the very best in the social media industry, the team has many years experience. Their work is famous and even this week headline news. Their work is often very fun and although solves communication problems, there is also a theme of campaigns working for the greater good of the world and the people in it.
You will also have an understanding of the wider integrated communications picture of campaigns; marcomms to PR. Also, a wider understanding of what digital can bring to a creative idea, web design/build, UX, SEO, web and mobile apps, augmented realiy etc. Although you will have a separate digital team to work with on the wider digital channels.
