This Social Media Account Manager role is in digital communications strategy team that sits at the heart of a successful and highly creative communications agency. The overall agency is part of a global integrated marketing group.

As a social media team in a major agency, there are a great variety of colourful brands to work across; the biggest brands in sweets, entertainment (film and gaming), mobile, music, to finance brands.

This is an established social media team, they have been doing it for over 8 years and it’s a part of the agencies DNA. There is an excellent Digital Strategy Director to work into.

The social media account manager role is focused on developing engaging social media programs or campaigns for your clients. You will need expertise in developing communities and digital thinking and the ability to translate plans into effective real actions. The role creates and executes campaign ideas, that are on strategy, on time and on budget.

The role works with the account and project management teams associated with each client, but you will need to get stuck in to these teams and help deliver as part of the client teams.

The social media role manages existing social network communities and social profiles, including Twitter and YouTube and engages with key influencers across the respective markets.
